Managing Your Team Roster
Building your team in SalesSavant is easy. Whether you have two reps or two hundred, we provide tools to get everyone onboarded quickly.
1. Navigating to Team Settings
Only users with Leader or Manager roles can manage the team roster.
- Click on Settings in the left sidebar.
- Select the Teams tab.
- You'll see your organization's team members organized by team.
2. Inviting New Members
To add new members to your organization:
- Go to Settings > Teams and click Add Members.
- Choose a source:
- From Integration — pick a team member from the users discovered in your connected meeting integration (Zoom, Fathom). Recommended when you've already connected an integration, since it auto-links the rep's external user ID.
- By Email — enter email addresses manually if you'd rather invite someone before they appear in the integration.
- Assign team and role for each member:
- Manager: Can view team metrics, access coaching tools, and manage their team's roster.
- Rep: Can view their own calls, personal metrics, and coaching insights.
- Confirm. Members invited by email receive instructions to join; members added from an integration are added immediately and start receiving call analyses on their next ingested call.
3. Managing Existing Members
From the team roster, you can:
- Resend Invites: If a user hasn't accepted their invite, click Resend.
- Change Teams: Move members between teams as your organization evolves.
- Update Roles: Promote reps to managers or adjust permissions as needed.
- Deactivate: If a member leaves your team, you can deactivate their seat.
4. Understanding Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Leader | View all teams, all calls, analytics, billing, and organization settings. Full administrative access. |
| Manager | View assigned team(s) calls, metrics, coaching tools, and manage team roster. |
| Rep | View own calls, personal metrics, and coaching insights. |
5. Team Structure
SalesSavant supports flexible team structures:
- Multiple Teams: Create separate teams for different regions, products, or functions.
- Hierarchical Access: Leaders see all teams; Managers see their assigned teams; Reps see only their own data.
- Cross-Team Visibility: Managers can be assigned to multiple teams if needed.
Tips for Success
Start Small: Begin by inviting a few key team members to get familiar with the platform before rolling out to the entire organization.
Set Clear Expectations: Let your team know what data will be analyzed and how insights will be used for coaching.
Regular Check-ins: Use the coaching features to have meaningful 1:1 conversations based on call data.
