Integration Setup Guide

Connecting your meeting recording platform is the most important step in getting SalesSavant up and running. This guide covers how to connect Zoom and Fathom.


1. Connecting Zoom

Zoom is our primary integration for capturing sales calls and transcripts from your cloud recordings.

Prerequisites

  • A Zoom account with cloud recording enabled
  • Admin access to your Zoom account (for initial setup)

Setup Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click Connect Zoom: On the Zoom card, click Connect.
  3. Authorize on Zoom: You'll be redirected to Zoom's OAuth consent screen. Review the requested scopes and click Allow.
  4. Confirm: Zoom redirects you back to SalesSavant. The Zoom card now shows Active with the connected account email.

What Happens Next

  • SalesSavant will automatically pull in cloud recordings from your Zoom account.
  • New recordings are typically processed within minutes of being available.
  • Historical recordings can be backfilled based on your settings.

Important Notes

  • Cloud Recording Required: SalesSavant cannot access local recordings saved only to your computer. Ensure "Cloud Recording" is enabled in your Zoom settings.
  • Multiple Connections: You can connect multiple Zoom accounts if your team uses different accounts.

2. Connecting Fathom

If you use Fathom to record your meetings, you can sync your recordings directly to SalesSavant.

Setup Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Select Fathom: Click the Connect button next to the Fathom option.
  3. Authorize Access: You'll be redirected to Fathom to authorize SalesSavant. Log in to your Fathom account and approve the connection.
  4. Name Your Connection: Give this connection a descriptive name.
  5. Select Scope: Choose whether this connection applies to your team or entire organization.
  6. Confirm: Once redirected back to SalesSavant, you should see a "Connected" status.

What Happens Next

  • Your Fathom transcripts and recordings will automatically sync to SalesSavant.
  • Calls will appear in your Calls dashboard once processed.

Managing Your Integrations

After connecting your integrations, you can manage them from Settings > Integrations:

  • View Status: See which integrations are active and their last sync time.
  • Disconnect: Remove an integration if you no longer need it.
  • Add Additional Connections: Connect multiple accounts as your team grows.

Troubleshooting

Recording not appearing?

  • Ensure cloud recording is enabled in your Zoom settings.
  • Check that the recording has finished processing on Zoom/Fathom's side.
  • Verify your connection is still active in Settings > Integrations.

Connection error?

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.
  • If the issue persists, contact support@salessavant.ai.
